School uniform
The school uniform will be changing from September 2012. Please go to http://www.harlandsprimaryschool.org/news/index.php to see the details
Shoes - You should wear well-fitting, dark-coloured leather (or leather substitute) shoes to school. High heels, platform soles or sandals with thin straps are not allowed for safety reasons. Trainers are only allowed during PE sessions. You should always wear socks, even in warm weather unless you want to get smelly feet!
We expect you to wear your uniform as tidily as possible. You need to keep your hair off your face, otherwise you won’t be able to see your work properly!
There is not a lot of space on the pegs so try not to bring too much to school – only what you need. Make sure that your name is marked on your clothes, including your shoes and PE kit, so that we can return it to you straight away if you lose it.
There is often discussion about whether wearing school uniform is good or bad. Even if you don’t like wearing it, at least it is easy to know what you are wearing that day! This article is written by a Newsround Press Packer. Do you agree with her?
