KS2 Class Teacher
Contract: Initial one year fixed term, with the possibility of becoming permanent
Salary TMS 1 to TMS 6 (depending on experience), £30,000 to £41,333
Required from September 2024.
Harlands is an ambitious and vibrant two-form entry primary school, which became a converter, stand-alone, academy in April 2014. From September 2023 we have had a bulge class, which for September 2024 will be part of our Year 1 cohort. Our most recent Ofsted inspection in January 2023 reconfirmed that the school continues to remain as Good.
At Harlands, our children are highly motivated, eager to learn and delightful to teach. We have developed a bespoke curriculum with high standards underpinned by extensive enrichment in Sport and the Arts. The school is situated in a woodland location.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and aspirational teacher, who would be keen to enhance and support our curriculum initially in KS2, but willing to work in KS1 if this becomes a permanent appointment. An interest in either the development of IT within a school setting or outdoor education would be desirable. We would also be prepared to consider either a first or second year ECT for this post.
